PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION:
This
is a program like no other. Thanks to Pepsi-Cola
Canada and Bauer/Nike Hockey, we are able to
invite the best AAA players we could find in the GTHL, OMHA,
and US leagues. We recruit top AAA players in each age group.
Recruits are invited to attend the camp, along with 29 other
elite players.

The
students experience 3 hours each day of exciting hockey training.
While being pushed to a new level, the students learn how
advanced the game of hockey is. It is a 3 hour session like
never seen before!
The
program is entering it's sixth year and is now accepting applications
for the 2005 program. We have added and INVITE only AA camp
in April as well. The camp consists of two parts: part one
is July 4-8, 2005, emphasizing Advanced Power
Skating and Puck Skills; the second week, August 1-5,
2005, is for Elite Pro Drills and Conditioning. Both
weeks are at The Pavillion Sports Complex (Dufferin
and 407)
Canada
is in great need of such a program that takes the best players,
trains them with the best instruction and teaches them the
on and off ice requirements of hockey. Thanks to Pepsi and
Bauer/Nike, we are starting this program in Toronto with hope
of expanding to a National Program. Both The Canadian Hockey
League and The Canadian Hockey Association are well aware
of this revolutionary program.
The
camps are being taught by Gerry and Kevin Donoghue. Gerry
is featured on The Score with a weekly tip
of the week that airs coast to coast. Gerry Coached for 2
years with the OHA Tier 11 Junior A Wexford Raiders.
He previously spent 4 years coaching AAA. He played his hockey
in the CIAU at St. Francis Xavier University.
Kevin is currently coaching AAA hockey with the North York
Canadiens and played NCAA hockey at Western Michigan University.
